What We Do

Sunday Services

We meet every Sunday at 10am.

We don’t have as some churches do a set liturgy or a fixed order of service.  However, our worship services do include a call to worship, prayer, musical praise time, readings from the Bible, and corporate confessions. We do believe that the preaching of God’s Word is central to all that we do, making the sermon a very important part of every service.

Our goal during the Sunday morning worship service is to engage both, hearts and minds, to glorify our God. Our desire is to focus our hearts on adoring Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus is the Head of the Church.  Musically as we are able, we will have a mixture of traditional hymns and contemporary songs. We want to have the best mixture of the old and the new. Our musical team includes the piano the bongo drums along with the flute and sometimes even the violin.

Mid-Week

As a church we have a mid-week Bible study. We will meet both in person (in the church hall) and online.  We enjoy meeting together and making time to gather during the week for different reasons. This can include socialising, studying the Bible, or engaging in mission activities. We are looking to have a small group ministry as our numbers increase.

One of the joys of our Christianity is to have corporate worship where we come together and give glory to God with one voice. Our Christian faith is to affect every part of our lives and everything we do is to be done with the glory of God in mind. Even, as we go through the boring and mundane parts of life, we are to do them for God’s glory. So, when we are washing the dishes or even weeding the garden, we are to be living out our lives to the glory of God.  All our work and play, relationships, learning, teaching, music, sports, cooking, and eating are to be done for God’s glory. As Christians we are to look to have the best life we can have because we are sons and daughters of the most high God.

Social Times

We will meet socially after church and at other times so we can encourage one another with our most holy faith. We know that as part of a family we are to be loving and encouraging one another as we go through our lives.  As a church we try and keep a family focus on what we do, so we can have a blend of structured and unstructured activities. We endeavour to announce these events during our Sunday morning services.
